Our single molecule detection platform facilitates real-time identification and quantification of a full spectrum of pathogens. Conventional testing methods, usually focussed on culturing and PCR approaches result in delays in diagnosis and hence treatment, whilst requiring skilled operators and calibrated systems. Our platform enjoys a unique capability to detect individual pathogens within a complex background of other organisms and contaminants. iPrime’s proprietary approach employs a small disposable set and a small desktop-sized reader to allow the direct detection of pathogens. The results produced are comparable with “gold standard” laboratory tests in terms of sensitivity and specificity whilst enabling a variety of applications across healthcare, industry, environment and research.
iPrime’s extensive library of specialised biomarkers help to strengthen the objectivity of the data produced whilst minimising human error. This is supported by advanced AI capabilities, enhancing the real-time data our system generates. Our platform will allow previously unfeasible real-time testing across a variety of needs at the point-of-care. As a result, it will replace a significant number of current commonly used tests. iPrime’s platform enjoys the flexibility to be compatible with the majority of common sampling methods. We envisage that this platform will lead to superior safety and risk management in all potential areas of pathogen contamination.
